We appreciate your interest in applying to Saint Andrew's Episcopal School. Please use the following checklist to ensure that you have completed each step in the application process. All necessary forms can be downloaded below.
We are currently accepting applications for the 2012-2013 academic year, as well as transfer applications for the current (2011-2012) academic year.
[ ] 1. Application: Submit online application via tab to the left, download the
form below, or request a paper form.
[ ] 2. Application Fee: Submit $75 non-refundable application fee via check
made out to "Saint Andrew's Episcopal School" or pay online via credit card
(for online applications only).
[ ] 3. Assessment: We will contact you to schedule your child's assessment after
we have received his or her application and fee. See below for 2012
assessment dates.
- Applicants to PreKindergarten ("PreK") through First Grade participate in an hour-long individual readiness assessment with a Saint Andrew's teacher.
- Applicants to Second through Eighth Grade are administered portions of the ERB standardized test in a three-hour session.
- As an alternative to the ERB session, applicants may take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), but students who take the ISEE must still come to campus for a short assessment.
[ ] 4. Report Cards: Please submit your child's:
- First semester or trimester report card for the current (2011-2012) school year; and
- Final report card for the 2010-2011 school year (not required for PreK applicants).
[ ] 5. Standardized Tests: Please submit your child's standardized test score
reports (e.g., STAR, IOWA, SAT, ERB) for the past two years (if
applicable).
[ ] 6. Teacher Recommendations: Please provide Teacher Recommendation
forms to current teachers in late January. Teachers should mail the forms
directly to the Office of Admission at Saint Andrew's Episcopal School.

- Applicants to PreK through Fifth Grade should submit one (1) Recommendation.
- Applicants to Sixth through Eighth Grade should submit two (2) Recommendations, preferably from Math and Language Arts teachers.
[ ] 7. Shadowing: Applicants to Grades 6 through 8 must schedule a visit to
shadow with Saint Andrew's students. Applicants to Grades 4 and 5 are
invited, though not required, to shadow. Applicants to PreK through Grade 3
generally do not shadow.
