You are cordially invited to attend a special chapel service to commence the yearlong celebration of the school's 50th Anniversary.

8:20 - 9:00 a.m.

 
This service will include special guests, musical performances by both the Lower School and Middle School Choirs, a presentation by the city, a school video and light refreshments.
  
 
Parents will be on the plaza tomorrow and Friday to collect your donations to the Spring Social Wine Toss.  Wine and spirits of all types are needed for the Wine Toss game.  An adult will be collecting at drop off and pick up and a box will be in the office.
 
Also, the January 20th Spring Social Planning Meeting has been rescheduled from 8:30 a.m. to  2:00 p.m.

Head of School Coffees Begin Tomorrow
Just a quick reminder that tomorrow morning, Thursday, January 13th, Mr. McKay will present his annual school update.  Beginning at 8:30 a.m. in The Center, Mr. McKay will include among other updates: school finances, the CAIS accreditation process, and 50th Anniversary Activities.  The presentation will include a time for Q&A.  
 
If you're unable to attend tomorrow, the presentation will be repeated on Wednesday, January 26th.
  
Donate Used Uniforms Now
There's still time to bring in those gently-worn uniform items that your child has outgrown.  Collection boxes are outside the school office.  The Used Uniform Sale will take place on February 8, 2011.
  
5th-8th Grade Book Swap
Be a part of the Fifth through Eighth Grade Book Swap next Friday, January 14, 2011 at 3:00 pm in the Center.

Bring up to three gently-used books to the Library before school on Friday morning, January 14th, to exchange for Book Swap tokens.

At 3:00 p.m., come to the Center to exchange your tokens for the books that you want.
  
Class of 2012 trip to Washington, D.C. Registration
There will be a meeting on January 27th at 6:00pm in the Center to discuss the fall class trip to Washington, D.C. This meeting will be your chance to register your student.  Read More...
The Dad's Club is hosting its Annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning, January 22nd at 9:00 a.m.  Come out for a steaming stack of flapjacks, cartoons and fun!  RSVP here.
