Mondays at Saint Andrew’s are Bagel Lunch Day. A team of our sixth, seventh and eighth grade parents coordinate Bagel Lunch as a fundraiser for class activities.
Bagel Lunch Selections
- Bagel Lunch ~ includes a plain bagel; butter, cream cheese, mayonnaise, or mustard; fruit and a dessert snack
- Bagel Lunch with Turkey ~ includes all of the above plus a portion of turkey
Bagel Lunch Order Form
Taste Nutrition Services, Saint Andrew’s Food Services provider, prepares lunch on campus four days per week, Tuesday – Friday. Taste offers chef-crafted meals and a healthy a la carte selection.
Taste strives to offer well-balanced meals; kids get an entree, vegetable, fruit, milk/water and an occasional dessert.
- No fried foods, no junk foods.
- We encourage kids to find out for themselves that fresh foods actually taste better.
- By changing eating habits, a life-long diet of healthy nutrition can be achieved.
The complete meal includes a hot entree, vegetables, fresh fruit and beverage. Prices for the 2010/2011 school year are:
- $5.25 for grades Pre-K – 5
- $5.50 for grades 6 – 8
A second trip through the line costs $2.50
A la carte items are also available including:
- Yogurt parfaits
- Fresh fruits
- Daily made salads and sandwiches
- Sparkling fruit beverages
Gluten Free Lunches
Gluten Free Gourmet, LLC has partnered with Taste Nutrition Services to offer gluten free school lunches. The lunches are made, packaged, labeled & frozen at Gluten Free Gourmet’s dedicated gluten free facility. They are delivered, heated and served by Taste Nutrition Services trained staff. The complete meal includes an entrée, vegetables, fruit, and milk or bottled spring water.
Cash is accepted at the register, but students are encouraged to use a school meal account. To open an account or add fund, visit MyNutrikids.com.
