|Mayor of Saratoga Mary-Lynne Bernald visited Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School on Monday, December 3 to meet with the Pre-Kindergarten class. The students have been learning about their community and the roles of many community helpers. Mayor Bernald described her job as the Mayor and answered questions from the children. She explained to the students that as Mayor she attends a lot of meetings and works with people to help develop and implement plans that keep Saratoga safe and make it a great place to live. She shared that one of her favorite parts of being Mayor is visiting with people so that she can learn more about what’s important to them about living and working in our city. The students were very excited to meet the Mayor. They asked lots of questions and shared stories with her.|
Our Pre-Kindergarteners looks forward to having many community helpers visit the classroom. Some who have already been scheduled include a dentist, a geologist, and a nutritionist.
