The Saint Andrew's Kindergarten program is designed to foster a love of learning in a nurturing, supportive environment.

Kindergarteners collaborate in their daily learning, enriching their sense of community and trust during a pivotal developmental stage. Each classroom has a highly qualified teacher and assistant teacher who provide differentiated instruction to meet each student's need.

A Typical Day in Kindergarten

Based on early childhood development research and best teaching practices, the academic program is designed with a rich variety of curriculum and experiences that engage learners in mastering foundational academic skills. Our Kindergarten schedule includes studies in mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies, as well as art, music, religion, physical education, and Spanish. In all of the disciplines, teachers nurture students' abilities to work and learn with increasing independence while providing opportunities for students to make connections across academic areas. Additionally, kindergarten students gain confidence by participating in a performing arts performance and participating in age-appropriate service learning.
