For Students To Wholly Participate In Our Program:

Tuition Includes

Class sessions and instruction, Monday-Friday, 8:15 a.m.–3 p.m.
Before-school care each school day from 7-8 a.m.
After-school care each school day from 3–6 p.m.
All textbooks, reading books, and annual yearbook
All classroom and laboratory supplies (Pre-Kindergarten-5th Grade)
Notebooks, binders, and laboratory supplies (Middle School)
Field trips (3-4 day trips on average, Pre-Kindergarten-5th Grade)
Annual overnight field trip (4-7th Grade)
Service Learning Program and field trips (Pre-Kindergarten-8th Grade; project dependent)
1:1 iPads, including educational and office software applications, technical support, maintenance, and repair (Pre-Kindergarten-8th Grade)

Tuition Does Not Include

New Student Fee: Each incoming family pays a one-time New Student Fee of $1,800 upon entry to Saint Andrew’s. This fee is per new student and will be added to the first monthly tuition payment.
Tuition Refund Plan: Families who select 4x or 8x monthly tuition payment plan are required to enroll in the Dewar Tuition Refund Plan (fee is optional for families who select the 1x or 2x payment plan). The plan fee is .8% of total tuition, excluding the deposit.
Student Activity Fee: Each family pays an annual student activity fee per child, which covers the cost of student activities throughout the year. The activity fee for the school year is $175 (Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 8).

More About Flexible Tuition

Flexible Tuition is determined based on an annual review process that considers each family's complete financial profile. Income is only one of the factors that goes into determining a family's expected tuition contribution. Factors such as family size, income, expenses, assets, other tuition obligations, and extenuating circumstances are considered. We encourage families to apply for admission to Saint Andrew's Episcopal School regardless of their family's financial situation.

The Flexible Tuition application is independent of the admission application process. Families applying for Flexible Tuition during the priority period will need to submit their Flexible Tuition application and their Admission application by February 1, 2026. As we move through the Flexible Tuition process to determine each family's contribution, please know that fairness and confidentiality are at the heart of this process.

How to Apply For Flexible Tuition with the Clarity App

Step 1

Create Your Clarity Account to Complete The Flexible Tuition Application.

Beginning September 1, 2025, create your Clarity account with your email address and a password that you designate.

Complete your application for the 2026-2027 academic year. You don't have to complete your application in one sitting. You can save your data and log back in anytime to finish. For most families, the application process will take 20-30 minutes. After submitting the application, you will be brought to a payment screen and prompted to pay the $60 non-refundable application fee.

Step 2

Provide Clarity Permission to Share Your 1040s and W2s

Clarity integrates directly with the IRS, enhancing privacy and security while simplifying the document submission process for families. Families securely share their 1040s and W2s with a simple electronic signature.

2024 1040 Federal Income Tax Form, including all schedules and W-2(s). Must be complete and signed.
If completing a Business/Farm statement, submit all 2023 Federal Income Tax Forms and all accompanying schedules for each business owned.
Clarity will instruct you when it is time to submit your 2025 W2s and 1099s (if applicable) for each adult in the household. Submit through your Parent Portal no later than April 15, 2026.

Step 3

Clarity Provides an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) to Saint Andrew’s

Clarity analyzes the financial information you submitted and generates an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), which is Clarity's objective assessment of what your family should be able to contribute to your child's annual education costs. Saint Andrew's Flexible Tuition Committee reviews your family's EFC and uses this information to determine your Flexible Tuition rate. The school reserves the right to adjust this rate based on differences between the information submitted on your application and your tax returns.

Step 4

Saint Andrew's Notifies Your Family of the Flexible Tuition Decision and Tuition Rate

Your Flexible Tuition rate will be included in the admission packet for eligible admitted students and families. Returning families participating in the Flexible Tuition Program must re-apply through Clarity for the following school year. Your Flexible Tuition rate will be included in the re-enrollment agreement.

Learning More About Financial Aid

Each year Clarity hosts several Application Info Webinars for families. All families who may be applying to any clarity school are welcome to attend one of these webinars.

During the live session, a Clarity team member will review key aspects of the application, things to look out for, materials to gather, how to get help, how the tax verification process works, and lead a robust Q&A session.
