Since our founding in 1961, building and giving back to the community have been foundational to the Saint Andrew's experience. This remains a core value for our students throughout life.

One of the most impactful ways families can give back to Saint Andrew's is by donating to The Saint Andrew's Fund, our largest source of non-tuition revenue. The Saint Andrew's Fund (or SAF) covers the school's annual needs that are not included in the school's budget and provides critical funds for the Flexible Tuition Program. Every day, our faculty gives 100% to our students, and we ask every family to help us reach our collective goal of 100% family participation. Gifts to The SAF directly support the current year’s operating budget, providing critical resources that are put to work immediately.

What is the Saint Andrew's Fund?

The majority of Independent schools have an annual fundraiser.

The annual Saint Andrew’s Fund represents the school’s top fundraising priority. Gifts to this fund directly support the current year’s operating budget, providing critical resources that are put to work immediately. This includes funding for technology upgrades, art, music, athletics, flexible tuition, competitive teacher salaries and benefits, and more.

Annually, Saint Andrew’s Fund contributions will account for 6% of the school’s operating budget. This comprises 75% of the fundraising goal for school operations and 25% for the Flexible Tuition Program. For the 2025-2026 academic year, the total Saint Andrew’s Fund goal is $1,000,000.

What are the Funds used for?

a. The Saint Andrew’s Fund supports the school's operations, including critical safety and facility upgrades, and ensures the necessary resources are available to provide our students with a safe, clean, and vibrant campus.

b. The Saint Andrew’s Fund funds our teachers' five Professional Development days.

c. 25% of donations to The Fund will be applied to Saint Andrew’s Flexible Tuition budget, which is $1.6M for the 2025-2026 school year.

Why not just raise the school’s tuition?

Parent engagement at the school is invaluable, and we appreciate all the ways parents contribute to our community. We do ask that parents also contribute to The Saint Andrew’s Fund. Your participation reflects your support of the school’s mission, and parent participation in the fund is a metric of the school's health.

Hours spent volunteering on the school’s behalf are recognized as in-kind donations. Upon request, you'll receive a receipt noting the cash value of your volunteer hours for tax and matching purposes, and be recognized in our Annual Development Report as an in-kind donor. In-kind donations do not affect your Annual Giving Level with regard to The Saint Andrew’s Fund.
