The Tech Challenge is an annual team designed challenge for Saint Andrew's Episcopal School students in grades 4-8 that introduces and reinforces the scientific process with a hands-on project geared to solving a real-world problem. Students who enroll in the class will participate as a team at the competition level of the oldest member of the team. There will be 6 students per team.
This years challenge is called: No Roads, No Problem!
Hovercraft float on a cushion of air, allowing them to go places boats, cars, trains and other vehicles can’t. They don’t need roads or rails and can move tons of stuff over land or water.
The challenge: Design and build a hovercraft that can navigate different terrains.
First info clinic: Saturday, Oct. 13 at 10:30 a.m.
